Getting fancy with xfce4-terminal · Aug 17, 08:16 AM by Dylan Doxey
For one, did you know you can invoke xfce4-terminal as Terminal? ( This is no longer the case after doing the Gutsy update. It appears that Terminal is now associated with another application called "terminal.app". )
Well if your like me, you like figuring things out the hard way, before reading the documentation. If you're ready for the documentation, then I recommend going directly to the "advanced" section of the documentation. That's where it gets interesting.
Considering that I fat-finger the F1 key all the time, I should have read the docs a long time ago. Go figure. ( It's been my observation that RTFM is what separates the children from the adults in my profession. )
This opens three tabs, each with a password prompt waiting for me.
This is going to certainly lighten the burden of getting started with my work day.
